euros in aid).

The Chamber has specific lines such as the Women’s Business Support
Programme and the University Offices Network, to foment a vocation for
business among young people. With this aim, workshops, seminars and round tables are constantly
being held in the region’s university campuses.

Another possibility offered by the Chamber is its employment pool: it delivers peoples’
professional profiles to companies, so that the latter may contact the best-suited candidate.

Promoting industry

Industrial Technical Assistance is aimed at supporting and promoting the region’s industrial initiatives in international markets, with participation in specialist and multi-sector trade fairs, paying particular attention to subcontractors.

Furthermore, the Chamber offers up-to-date company databases, and it is one of the leading European institutions in implementing an online access system for these data using creditcard payment over the Internet. This service enables users to access the references of 370,000 companies directly on their computer screen. The Chamber also publishes the Industrial Location Records, and studies designed to optimise and improve the conditions at industrial estates.

Get a head start in foreign trade

The Chamber promotes the internationalisation of the Madrid economy with various
initiatives, from the most basic levels, such as the PIPE 2000 Plan under which small
and medium-sized enterprises receive tailored assistance to help make their first forays into
other markets, adapt their management systems, locate suppliers and buyers, etc., all at a
low cost for subscribing SMEs.
Madrid companies can benefit from the Support Plan for Exporting
Companies, which provides individualised assistance and help for prospecting and
promotion in foreign markets, participation and visits to trade fairs, and the development of
these companies’ image and advertising abroad.
